Summer is in full swing and so are we at Funky Divas & Dudes dance camps! Iverbe is a well-known sports and day camp located at The Willows Community School in Culver City. They hold their energetic summer camps at their home location for four weeks and then do a one-week camp at Pali High in the Palisades.
Funky Divas and Dudes loves their camps and passion for kids so much that we work with Iverbe every year in putting together their dance camp. We want to give the kiddos our very best and challenge them with fresh new moves at each session, so our instructors create original choreography every week.
For each session, campers are separated into younger and older groups to learn one routine and then come together for a group routine, which challenges the younger ones and encourages the older ones to mentor and help their younger friends. They always amaze us in how well they come together as a team. Then, every Friday, family and friends come for the big performance so the campers can show off their new skills and dance moves.
The Funky Divas & Dudes dance camp creates an environment for campers to truly excel in dance while fostering a sense of teamwork, friendship and fun! Summertime doesn’t have to be boring! We enjoy using dance and movement to keep kids growing and learning while using their creative energy. It’s a great way to keep their minds sharp and their bodies moving during those long summer months.
And we love our community! These camps are a great way to foster unity and togetherness in such a busy society. Our performance brings everyone together to form a community where kids can shine!
